Seeking QA & Associate / Junior Developer Roles

Building useful software. Focusing on quality.

I’m a software engineering student with hands-on experience building web applications and eight years in transportation operations. I’m looking to bring that practical perspective to a QA or Associate / Junior Developer role—helping a team find issues, improve reliability, and build features people can depend on.

Mr. D’s Transportation · 2016–2024

Transportation Operations & Software Development

From 2016 through 2024, I worked in transportation operations at Mr. D’s Transportation, coordinating time-sensitive shipments and working directly with customers, drivers, and business contacts. That work required attention to detail, clear communication, and following issues through to resolution—habits I bring to software development and my interest in QA. Drawing on that experience, I designed and built Load Ledger to bring day-to-day dispatch workflows into one operations platform.

  • Built around firsthand experience coordinating and monitoring up to 100 shipments per week
  • Replaced fragmented spreadsheet tracking with centralized shipment, client, carrier, and location workflows
  • Created a live operations dashboard for dispatch attention flags, load status, and upcoming pickups
  • Added AI-assisted PDF extraction with human review before shipment records are created
  • Implemented secure proof-of-delivery storage, authentication, and row-level data access
  • Developed with Next.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Drizzle ORM, and Supabase
